Tools we built because we kept doing this by hand
Four things we found ourselves working out repeatedly with clients: what an outage costs, how a business would score on a customer security questionnaire, where it stands on the DPDP Act, and which Microsoft 365 plan actually unlocks the features people care about.
All free, no sign-up, and nothing you enter leaves your browser. There is no server behind any of them.
What each one does
- Downtime cost calculator
- Work out what an IT outage actually costs your business, per incident and per year.
- Who it is for: Anyone building a case for better IT, or trying to size how much reliability is worth buying.
- Security questionnaire self-check
- The questions enterprise customers ask suppliers, turned into a self-assessment with a prioritised gap list.
- Who it is for: Startups and suppliers who have been sent a customer security questionnaire and are not sure how they would score.
- DPDP readiness check
- A practical self-assessment against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, with what to fix first.
- Who it is for: Indian businesses working out what the DPDP Act actually requires them to change.
- Microsoft 365 plan comparison
- Which plan unlocks conditional access, Intune and data loss prevention, without a price table that goes stale.
- Who it is for: Anyone choosing between Business Basic, Standard, Premium, E3 and E5 and unsure which features force the decision.
Why we give these away
Partly because they are genuinely useful and cost us nothing to publish. Mostly because the conversations that start with a number a business worked out themselves go better than the ones that start with a sales call. If a tool tells you your IT is fine, that is a legitimate outcome and we would rather you knew.
Use them, share them, and link to them if they are useful to your readers. If you want something added or corrected, tell us and we will do it.
Send us what it told you
No obligation and no sales sequence. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, that is what you will get. Initial reply within 4 business hours.
